User Agreement for Fayth

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Fayth ("the App"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by this User Agreement ("Agreement"). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Your continued use of the App after any such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the modified Agreement.

2. Description of Service

Fayth is a lightweight inspirational card making tool that allows you to:

Create high-quality inspirational cards by adding text to built-in images or photos from your device
Edit text with various formatting options (font, size, color, alignment, line spacing)
Use AI-powered text generation to create inspirational content
Save and manage your created cards
Share your creations with others

3. User Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the App. If you are under 16, you represent that you have your parent's or guardian's permission to use the App.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any account information associated with your use of the App.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with this Agreement. You agree NOT to:

Use the App to create, share, or store any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
Upload or transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Use automated systems or bots to access the App
Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
Impersonate any person or entity

5. User-Generated Content

You retain all ownership rights to the content you create using the App ("User Content"). However, by using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store your User Content on your device to enable App functionality.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. We do not claim ownership of your User Content, and we do not review, monitor, or control User Content stored on your device.

You represent and warrant that:

You own or have the necessary rights to all User Content you create
Your User Content does not violate any third-party rights
Your User Content complies with all applicable laws and regulations

6. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Coins: The App offers in-app purchases of virtual currency ("Coins") that can be used to save cards. Coins are non-refundable, have no cash value, are tied to your device, and cannot be transferred.

Subscriptions: The App offers subscription services ("VIP Subscriptions") that provide unlimited card saves and other premium features. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account and will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.

Payment Terms: All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. By making a purchase, you agree to Apple's payment terms and conditions. We are not responsible for any issues related to payment processing. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Refunds: Refund requests for in-app purchases must be submitted through Apple's App Store refund process. We do not process refunds directly. Apple's standard refund policy applies.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, functionality, and all content (except User Content), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
You may not remove any copyright or trademark notices
You may not use our trademarks, logos, or brand names without our prior written consent

The built-in images provided in the App are for use within the App only and may not be used for commercial purposes outside the App.

8. AI Text Generation

The App includes an AI-powered text generation feature. When you use this feature:

Your keywords are sent to a third-party AI service provider
The generated text is provided "as is" and may not always be accurate or appropriate
You are responsible for reviewing and editing any AI-generated content before using it
We are not liable for any content generated by the AI service

9. Permissions

The App requires certain permissions to function properly:

Photo Library Access: To select images for creating cards
Camera Access: To capture new photos for creating cards
Photo Library Add Access: To save completed cards to your photo library (optional)

You can manage these permissions through your device's Settings. Disabling certain permissions may limit App functionality.

10. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
We do not warrant that any defects or errors will be corrected
We do not warrant that the App is free of viruses or other harmful components

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the App.
